With DeHavilland Beavers ranging from 50 to 60 years old, the amount of detail can equal a wide range of rebuild hours. Depending on the hull condition, airframe time, and the level of perfection you may expect, a DHC-2 rebuild can range from 500 hours to 2000 hours of labor. This could equal as little as 6 months for a gorgeous Beaver rebuild or as many as 18 months for a Beaver that looks better than new.
